Fuel Gas Treatment Facilities Unit FGTU

One of the methods of passing natural gas (PNG) utilization is its application as a fuel for an autonomous gas-turbine and gas-reciprocating power-stations, providing buildings of ejected deposits with cheap electric power and heat. The direct use of PNG as fuel gas for gas-turbine and gas-reciprocating power-stations off proper hand results in the loss of power of a power-station and wear of engines. For achievement of gas-turbine and gas-reciprocating power-stations of the declared power it is necessary to execute the row of requirements. Except for traditional requirements on cleaning from mechanical admixtures and providing of points of dew (on water and hydrocarbons) the producers of GPES also produce a requirement to component composition and methane number of fuel gas. For the receipt of the proper quality fuel gas in. «LENNIIKHIMMASH» LTD the Fuel Gas Treatment Facilities Unit (FGTU) is developed.
 
For providing of possibility of transporting and moving from an object to the object the unit is supplied as blocks with sizes, not exceeded the volume of standard marine container. FGTU-1000 is supplied as one block. Units of the greater productivity are supplied as two blocks: compressor block and heat-exchanging block.

In connection with that on different deposits gas compositions can considerably differ, the unit is developed with large potential of adjusting of fuel gas quality. Basic technical descriptions for FGTU -1000 (during work on PNG with the volume stake of methane 0.7) are resulted in the table. For each gas composition the count of a heat-exchange surface and selection of a compressor are produced.

Operation example of FGTU

For providing of high quality of fuel gas low temperature separation of PNG is used. The gas cleaning from mechanical admixtures and tiny moisture is carried out on separators with patent jalousie packages. Gas drainage is produced on adsorption devices. The function boxes of FGTU are presented as a block diagram. The question of utilization of heavy hydrocarbons, got in the process of preparation of PNG, decides jointly with a Customer in every case.

The FGTU units correspond ВНТП 01/87/04-84 «Objects of gas and oil industry, executed with the use of block and block complete devices». The unit is compact and transportable, reliable and effective, simple in exploitation and service. Delivery terms of FGTU: 10.12 months.
