LENNIIHIMMASH Group took part in Russian Petrochemical Forum held in 2016 in Ufa

Russian Petrochemical Forum was held between May 24 and May 27, 2016 in Ufa, combining two key industry events in the region: “Big Chemistry” international forum and the 24th international exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies-2016”. The forum was organized by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Chamber of Commerce and Industries of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Bashkirian Exhibition Company. The forum was also sponsored by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation..

The forum was attended by the leaders in petrochemical industry, top managers of state corporations, international engineering and consulting companies and innovation centers, as well as by the representatives of business associations, state officials, experts and scientists from Russia and all over the world.

The forum members included the representatives of such major Russian companies as NK Rosneft, GK TAIF, SIBUR, LLC, PAO LUKOIL, GK Titan, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Gazprom pererabotka, LLC, TD Plastic, PAO ANK Bashneft, AO OKBM Afrikantov and others.

LENNIIHIMMASH Group was represented by Grigory P. Navalikhin, the Technical Director for Production and Development, and Pavel D. Mashkovtsev, Deputy General Director.

On May 27, 2016 Pavel D. Mashkovtsev participated in the discussion of the strategic development of the industries, including such issues as projects, their technical regulation, safety and engineering, and gave a speech on project specific technical specifications, their advantages and disadvantages.

The report contained the analysis of the current regulations for development and approval of project specific technical specifications (PSTS), the description of PSTS types, their status and their understanding by the designers and investors, as well as statistics of PSTS review by Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and examples of PSTS practical application by LENNIIHIMMASH Group.

Based on the above report, the draft resolution of the forum included proposal to develop a road map to improve regulations in the field of oil and gas processing and petrochemical industry so as to create a single system of regulatory documents complying with the European standards, adapted to the most recent technical solutions and intended to fill the gaps and to address mutual contradictions in the applicable law.
