Work description Development of main technical solutions and technical and economic indicators to increase capacity of the stable gas condensate primary processing complex by 3.0 million tons per year.
Year 2020

Purposes of main technical solutions implementation are:

  • Determination of possibility and acceptability of placement of the following items at the site of the existing complex:
    1. a tank farm (4 tanks with volume of 40000 m3 each) with a pumping station for storage of feed/ fractionation products;
    2. a stable gas condensate primary processing unit with rated capacity for feed of 3 mln. t/year
  • Development of optimal technical solutions for increase of feed primary processing capacity:
    1. optimal application of the existing facilities of the complex and the designed Combined process unit “Hydrocracking”, required for the needs of new facilities;
    2. maximum efficiency of process and applied equipment, which should correspond to the high technical level achieved in the worldwide practice;
    3. provision of output of market products of set parameters at minimum costs for materials and utilities, as well as at minimum environmental impact;
  • Arrangement of the tank farm and the feed primary processing unit at the existing production facility, routing of the pipelines required for their operation and utility systems.
  • Cost-benefit assessment of return on investment.

The work has been carried out in 3 stages with the possibility of further commissioning the facilities.

  • Development of the main technical solutions for placement of the tank farm with the pumping station.
  • Development of the main technical solutions for placement of the stable gas condensate primary processing unit with rated capacity for feed of 3 mln. t/year.
  • Feasibility study of the solutions developed within the main technical solutions at Stages 1 and 2.

Results of feasibility calculations show that Complex reconstruction in accordance with the developed main technical solutions is cost effective and feasible.
Based on the main technical solutions, design and detailed documentation has been developed.
